Caterina Massidda is Data Analyst/Programmer at the Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation (CIRCA).
She has worked at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tubingen Germany, as a research assistant for the development of a low cost-low weight multi-spectral camera. After this experience in Germany, she decided to move to the USA and work as research assistant at the School of Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) on the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. In this period she was involved in different projects, ranging from Modeling of Internal Waves as well as Data Analysis for the Characterization of the Massachusetts Wind Energy Area.
Caterina holds a M.S. and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, and a M.S. in Marine Science and Technology from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, MA.
