Expertise: water policy and management, climate science for decision making, adaptive capacity, wastewater and drinking water systems

Kirchhoff’s research on water, climate and society encompasses the following areas: (1) understanding and improving water policy, management and governance under uncertainty and change; (2) understanding and improving the ways in which we collaborative produce more usable science and the application of that science, particularly of climate science, to inform decision making; (3) determining the factors that enhance sustainability, adaptive capacity and resilience in the governance and management of water resources.
