Libbie Duskin is the Data Analyst/Programmer (Research Assistant 2) for the Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation (CIRCA). Before joining CIRCA, she worked as a scientific diver on a project collecting freshwater mussels as part of a relocation and habitat restoration initiative. She also utilized her marine science degree working at aquariums like Walt Disney World’s The Seas with Nemo and Friends and The Florida Aquarium doing animal husbandry and research. During this time, she was involved in several projects relating to mapping animal space use and behavioral patterns in aquariums. Her graduate capstone expanded on this research by developing and designing an ArcGIS Web Application that would allow zoological facilities to analyze geospatial data collected by GPS/accelerometer tags worn by the animals.

Libbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from California State University, Monterey Bay and a Masters of Geographic Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University.
